ESPS Welcome to Kindergarten 2022-2023
If your child will be 4 years old by December 31st, 2022, they are eligible to start Kindergarten in September. Parents are welcome to register their children at any time. You can register at your local school or online. Before you visit, make sure you call the school to ensure someone will be available to process your registration and answer questions you may have.

Welcome to Kindergarten
Dear Parents/Guardians of new KG students (a.k.a. New Elgin Eagles), due to the school closures caused by Covid-19, we are unable to host our traditional Welcome to Kindergarten (WTK) activity evening. In the past, this evening has been an "open house" affair that allowed families new to Elgin St., a chance to meet our educators, tour the KG classrooms and see what KG looks and feels like in terms of activities and learning experiences.
This year, we have assembled some general WTK information (I.e. PowerPoint info., KG activity pages, videos, etc...) for you to view at your convenience. We hope you find it useful as you and your child/ren begin your school journey here at Elgin.
